Lauren grew up internationally, living in Guam, Taiwan, Thailand, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, and Hungary. She is married and has two children: a daughter who will be graduating from college this year and a son who is a senior at Safe Harbor. Lauren has taught Middle School Language Arts and Bible for several years and truly loves working with this age group. Lauren is passionate about ensuring her students feel seen, known, and valued while creating engaging and enjoyable classroom experiences. One of her primary goals is to help students understand what they believe and confidently express those beliefs. In her family's spare time, they volunteer in animal rescue and fostering, enjoy traveling, spending time on the water, and cooking international dishes together.
