Amy and her husband, Trent, met and were married in Orange County, CA in 2004. Since then they have lived in TN, WA and CA before returning again to Tennessee in 2021. They have been on staff at The Gate since the spring of 2022. Amy has taught private voice and piano lessons for the past 30 years and been a worship leader since she led a worship team in college. Before relocating to Tennessee, Amy taught art and music at a private school in California for four years. Since 2022, she has served in educational leadership in Tennessee. She holds a degree in Music Ministry, and she is passionate about discipleship and serving in ministry wherever God leads her. But her greatest joy is being a mom and doing life with her 3 daughters - Sydney, who is starting her freshman year at Trevecca, and Savy and Hadley, both at Safe Harbor. In her free time, Amy enjoys walking, traveling to the beach, playing the piano, singing, songwriting, worshiping Jesus, and making memories with her family.
