SoundWaves Family field trip 2026
About This Event
You are invited to join us on August 17th for our 2nd Annual SOUNDWAVES WATERPARK Family field trip!
Bring the whole family and join us as we kick off our school year with some water park fun together!
Tickets are $35.68 per person (4 years +).
3 year olds and under are free and do not need a ticket.
WHEN: Monday, August 17th at 9:45AM-2PM
WHERE: SoundWaves at Opryland Hotel, 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville
The deadline to register for this field trip is July 31st.
GETTING THERE: Stay in the far right lane when turning into the Resort and follow signage for Guest Check-In. Parking will be in the Cascades area of the hotel. You will enter through the Cascades Lobby and continue straight up the escalators leading you through the Garden Conservatory via the skybridge towards SoundWaves. SoundWaves will be on the left, just past Bravo Gelato and the Conservatory Cafe/Starbucks. THIS WALK WILL TAKE ABOUT 10 MINUTES.
PARKING: If you are parking on property, you will park in the CASCADES parking lot. Remember, you will have to walk a LOOOONG WAYS to get to SoundWaves after parking so leave plenty of time. BRING YOUR PARKING TICKET WITH YOU! That little card ticket that pops out of the machine. You will receive a discounted parking sticker with your wristband when you check in. This will make parking $14+ tax. You will place the sticker in the center of your tickets and insert into meter and pay with credit card as you leave for the day. There is an alternate parking option, if you would prefer not to pay for parking. You may park behind the Opryland Hotel (which is technically mall parking). You can enter the hotel through the back entrance and walk through the Delta Atrium to SoundWaves.
WHAT TO BRING: Swimsuits and goggles. Be prepared to pay for lunch there at their restaurant. You cannot bring outside food and drinks (WATER BOTTLES ARE OKAY). Feel free to bring a change of clothes — they have locker rooms and showers.
WHAT THEY PROVIDE: Towels, life jackets
When you arrive at the SoundWaves welcome desk, look for the Safe Harbor sign. You will check in with us at the desk to receive your wrist bands and your discount parking sticker.
